Fees
Initial Consultations
The upfront fee for an initial appointment with our psychiatrists is $800. The Medicare rebate for eligible patients is $247.25. You will need to visit your General Practitioner (GP) and obtain a referral letter to our practice in order to claim your rebate.
Follow-Up Consultations
- The fee for a 15-minute follow-up appointment is $180. The Medicare rebate for eligible patients is $41.15.
- The fee for a 30-minute follow-up appointment is $280. The Medicare rebate for eligible patients is $82.15.
- The fee for a 45-minute follow-up appointment is $420. The Medicare rebate for eligible patients is $126.40.
- The fee for a 60-minute follow-up appointment is $600. The Medicare rebate for eligible patients is $174.45.
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Assessments
The total fee for an assessment and initial treatment of adult ADHD/ADD is $1180 over two sessions. The total Medicare rebate you get back for both sessions is $329.40.
Initial Consultations
The upfront fee for an initial appointment with our child psychiatrist is $1000. The Medicare rebate for eligible patients is $247.25. You will need to visit your General Practitioner (GP) and obtain a referral letter to our practice in order to claim your rebate.
Follow-Up Consultations
- The fee for a 30-minute follow-up appointment is $450. The Medicare rebate for eligible patients is $126.40.
The fee for all appointments with our clinical psychologist is $250. The Medicare rebate for eligible patients is $137.05.
In order to claim your rebate, your GP will need to complete a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) with you and refer you to our clinic with a referral letter.
After attending 6 sessions, you will need to visit your referring GP again to determine if more sessions are required. Your GP may refer you for another 4 sessions. You would be able to claim a Medicare rebate for a total of 10 sessions within a calendar year.
The fee for additional support letters to third parties is $70. Please check if your requested document(s) incur any fees.
Please let us know at least 1 business day* prior to your appointment if you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment. The fee for nonattendance or cancellations with less than 1 business day's notice is $100.
When notice is not given for a missed appointment, it results in another patient missing out on a possible appointment. If a cancellation is due to an illness or other inevitable circumstances, it is at the clinician’s discretion whether the cancellation fee applies. Please be advised that Medicare and Private Health Insurance funds will not offer a rebate for any cancellation fees incurred.
* If your appointment is booked for a Monday, please advise us on the Friday of the week beforehand if you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment.
