Dr Daniel Mo
Consultant Psychiatrist
Dr Daniel Mo is a graduate from the University of Tasmania with First Class Honors and a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College Psychiatrists.
With experiences in leading an acute treatment team and a service specialising in chronic, complex patients living in mental health hostels, Dr Mo has a broad scope of expertise from sudden acute presentations to long-term, treatment resistant cases.
He is also a strong advocate for ADHD treatment and holistic recovery and has been invited as a speaker and teacher on this subject.
In his free time, he does volunteer work equipping churches to dealing with mental health issues and advocates for patients who have religious beliefs to receive treatment that respects their religious values.
His motto as a doctor is “to see and treat the patient, not just the illness”, and patients have often commented positively about his care and professionalism.

Dr Yee-Ling Kuok
Consultant Psychiatrist
Dr Yee-Ling Kuok is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. Having graduated from UWA in 1998 (MBBS with Honours), she commenced her psychiatry training in 2002, and has more than 20 years of experience working in public, private and rehabilitative/residential services.
Dr Kuok prefers to work with patients holistically – looking at the interplay of body, soul and spirit – thus incorporating pharmacological and psychosocial treatments.

Dr Elvin Ko
Consultant Psychiatrist
Dr Elvin Ko is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. He completed his medical and psychiatric training in Perth, and has worked primarily in community psychiatry.
He is passionate about tailoring treatment and management to suit patients. Curious by nature, he always seeks to clearly understand and simplify issues which may at first appear complex.

Dr Eileen Tay
Consultant Psychiatrist
Dr Eileen Tay is a local UWA medical school graduate and has been a doctor for over 30 years and worked as a GP before qualifying as a Psychiatrist with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatry. She has a broad knowledge and experience in the multidimensional aspects of Psychiatric practice across multiple settings in both the public and private sectors and has a particular interest in supervision, teaching and training in Psychiatry. In clinical practice she uses a combination of psychotherapy and medications to optimise outcomes for her patients

Dr Alvin Loh
Consultant Psychiatrist
Dr Alvin Loh graduated from Monash University with honours. He underwent his psychiatry training in Hobart, Tasmania and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatry. Of note he has received special mentorship in perinatal Psychiatry in Hobart
He has expertise in a variety of settings, including emergency care, inpatient centres and outpatient clinics, as well as in public and private sectors.
He has received commendation from executives of the Royal Perth Hospital for his competent management of acute psychiatric patients. He has a compassionate and empathic approach, prioritising inter-personal collaboration, and is well-valued by employers and patients alike.
Outside of work, he has interest in sport when he is not otherwise busy with his growing family.

Dr Gulnar Kazi
Consultant Psychiatrist
Dr Gulnar Kazi is a locally trained psychiatrist based in Western Australia, with extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of adult mental health conditions. She has a special interest in mood and anxiety disorders, as well as psychotic illnesses.
Dr Kazi takes a holistic, recovery-oriented approach to care—working in partnership with patients to support their journey towards improved wellbeing and meaningful life goals. She also considers psychological therapies, lifestyle factors and the broader social context in supporting mental health and recovery. Her practice is grounded in kindness, compassion, and deep respect for each individual’s story.
With a warm and collaborative style, Dr Kazi aims to create a safe and inclusive therapeutic space, tailored to the unique needs of each person.

Dr Steve Patchett is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. Dr Patchett has over 40 years experience as a consultant psychiatrist in the public sector in Australia and New Zealand.
He has worked in general adult psychiatry in both inpatient and community settings, with special interest in forensic psychiatry and the mental health of Aboriginal people.His areas of interest include:

Dr Thamei Damoderam
Consultant Psychiatrist
Dr Damoderam is a warm and approachable psychiatrist with 15 years’ experience across Malaysia and Australia. Trained in Western Australia and a Fellow of the RANZCP, Dr Damoderam is also involved in WA Forensic Mental Health. Dr Damoderam has a passion for working with culturally diverse and disadvantaged communities.
Fluent in English, Malay and Tamil, she takes a holistic, collaborative approach to care, with special interests in adult and forensic psychiatry, mood and anxiety disorders, psychosis, and psychotherapy.

Dr Karen Sixsmith

Dr Sixsmith is a fellow of Royal Australian and NZ College of Psychiatrists. She completed her primary medical degree in Wales, UK and then finished her psychiatry training in Perth. She has worked for over 20 years in the public sector in Perth, primarily in acute community psychiatry. She has also worked as a psychiatrist in Emergency Departments in Perth.
She has extensive experience treating a wide range of psychiatric illnesses with a combination of medication and non-medication treatment options.

Dr Lee Lee Tan
Consultant Psychogeriatrician
Dr Tan obtained her medical degree (MBBS) from the University of Melbourne in Victoria, Australia in 2003. She received a fellowship from the Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Psychiatry (RANZCP) in General Psychiatry in 2013 and an additional fellowship in Older Adult Psychiatry in 2014.
Since 2013, her work as a consultant in the private and public sectors has given her a deep understanding of the challenges in delivering optimal mental healthcare in Australia. She specializes in ‘treatment-resistant’ depression, anxiety disorders, Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) psychotherapy, and neurodegenerative disorders. She is fluent in English and Cantonese and can converse in Mandarin and Bahasa Melayu. Working with clients from diverse cultures has enabled her to understand the impact of race, culture, and ethnicity on the treatment process.
Above all, Dr Tan is a kind, compassionate, and approachable clinician who profoundly understands the challenges her clients and their families face.

Dr Vineet Padmanabhan
Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist
Dr Vineet Padmanabhan is a highly experienced child and adolescent psychiatrist, dedicated to the assessment and treatment of children and adolescents aged 0-17. As a medical doctor, he is equipped to diagnose conditions, deliver therapy, and, where indicated, prescribe medications.
Dr Padmanabhan completed his core psychiatry training in Bristol and Wales, UK, and went on to specialise in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He gained significant experience working as a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist in the UK before relocating to Perth in 2013. His extensive background in psychiatry ensures a comprehensive and nuanced approach to mental health care.Dr. Padmanabhan is passionate about providing tailored care for a range of psychiatric conditions, including:

Dr Pradeep Rao
Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist
Clinical A/Professor Dr Pradeep Rao is a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. Dr Rao has a special interest in the assessment and management of ADHD and other Neurodevelopmental disorders. He works in private practice at Lifepoint Mental Wellness Clinic as well as Head of Service, Complex Attention and Hyperactivity Disorders Service (CAHDS) at Perth Children’s Hospital, Perth, Australia.
He has previously worked in senior medical leadership roles at the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). Dr Rao is also a Clinical Associate Professor at University of Western Australia (UWA) and an Honorary Associate with the Telethon Kids Institute, Perth Australia.
His research interests include improvements to mental health service provision and the underlying neurobiology and neurocircuitries of ADHD, anxiety and mood disorders in children and adolescents. Dr Rao has been a guest editor for a special issue on mood disorders in Frontiers Psychiatry and is also a reviewer for a number of peer reviewed journals. -
Dr Gagan Garg
Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist
Associate Professor Gagan Garg is a highly experienced Consultant Psychiatrist with over 25 years of clinical and academic expertise in psychiatry, specialising in Child, Adolescent, and Youth Mental Health. He is a Fellow of both the Royal College of Psychiatrists (UK) and the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists.
A/Prof Garg currently serves as Deputy Director of Psychiatry and Clinical Director within the public mental health sector and also maintains a private practice. He holds academic appointments as a Senior Clinical Lecturer at Flinders University and Associate Professor at Charles Darwin University, reflecting his commitment to medical education and psychiatric research.
With a deep understanding of the complexities of young people’s mental health, A/Prof Garg offers expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of psychiatric conditions. His clinical interests include mood and anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), Tourette syndrome, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and behavioural issues related to gaming and social media. He has a particular focus on neurodevelopmental disorders, including Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Currently, he provides comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and tailored treatment plans for children, adolescents, and young adults with ADHD via Telehealth.
Outside of his professional life, A/Prof Garg enjoys long hikes and values quality time with his family.

Dr Mohammed Usman
Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist
Dr Mohammed Usman trained as a psychiatrist in the UK and has been working in public practice as Senior Child & Adolescent Consultant Psychiatrist in Australia for a number of years. He has published papers and presented at multiple conferences and is keen to promote consumer awareness and education. His main interests and expertise is seeing children, young people & adults with neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD, ASD and ID.

Melissa Trindall
Clinical Psychologist
Melissa is a Clinical Psychologist with experience in treating adults with complex and co-morbid presentations.
Her main interests include ADHD, trauma, anxiety and mood disorders.
